Tagus International Natural Park

The Parque Natural do Tejo Internacional (PNTI) covers the valley of the border section of the Tagus River, neighboring valleys and adjacent flat areas. It extends over territory belonging to the municipality of Castelo Branco, Idanha-a-Nova and Vila Velha de Ródão.

Serra da Malcata Natural Park

The Serra da Malcata Natural Reserve - RNSM (16,348 ha) is based on a succession of rounded hillocks of a schist nature that are lost in Spain through the Serra da Gata, furrowed by small lines of water that hide from the eye.
